held by TBM Lentera Pustaka at the foot of Mount Salak, Bogor
In front of 250 participants, Dr. Cecep Suryana, Coordinator of the Literacy and Reading Culture Function of the Directorate. PMPK
The Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia emphasizes the importance of increasing the love of regional-based reading, both village and village
and sub-districts by involving all elements in the community. Take part in the Declaration
Sukaluyu Literacy Village Nana Mulyana (Sekdis DAP Bogor Regency), Retno Tri Wulandari (Corporate Secretary
Bank Sinarmas), Ummi (Chairman of the West Java TBM Forum), and Syarifudin Yunus (Head of the Lentera TBM Program
Pustaka), Rosidin (To the village of Sukaluyu), and Sitta (Head of FBTM Bogor Regency).
"I appreciate the Sukaluyu Literacy Village which is run by TBM Lentera Pustraka because it involves
volunteers, residents, and a large number of school-age children. Hopefully this literacy village can
become an incubator for the literacy movement, especially in Bogor. So that the tradition of reading among children and
society still exists in the digital era. TBM has a big role to play in creating an Indonesian society that
literacy” said Dr. Cecep Suryana.
Marked by the sounding of the angklung, the Sukaluyu Literacy Village inaugurated the use of "3 Reading Corners"
TBM Lentera Pustaka located in Warung Loa, Jami, and Tamansari villages followed by a literacy dialogue
with children, active readers as a motivation for the importance of reading books in the digital era. Besides
efforts to promote the movement to eradicate illiteracy in the community.
