Kadin's Response After Jokowi Asks for PPKM Level to be Evaluated

The spike in domestic Covid-19 cases has prompted the government to reconsider evaluating the level of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM).

Responding to this condition, the Coordinator of Deputy General Chair (WKU) III for Maritime, Investment, and Foreign Affairs of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Shinta W. Kamdani said, business actors understand the government's considerations to evaluate the implementation of PPKM level, including if later implementing PPKM level 3. considering the rate of spread of the pandemic in recent times has increasingly shown an alarming increase. "Business actors are committed to continuing to implement PPKM in the best possible way so that the spread of the pandemic can soon subside," said Shinta. However, Shinta continued, Kadin hopes that the government can be prudent in implementing the PPKM policy, especially so that economic performance can be maintained stability (not too deep a contraction). Kadin in particular hopes that business activities with conditions such as that the workers have been fully vaccinated, will be able to operate as normal as possible as long as they meet the prokes provisions at their place of business.
