Ensure Palm Oil Business Has Social Responsibility and Protects the Environment

Every oil palm business activity is vulnerable to violations of human rights or human rights and ignores social welfare and does not protect the environment.
In order to make the palm oil business more sustainable, corporations need to ensure that their business activities are anti-discrimination, respect human rights, and do not employ children. This was raised in a webinar entitled "To what extent do Indonesian businesses protect the environment and care about the climate?" Organized by the International NGO Forum on Indonesian Development (INFID), Sawit Watch Executive Director Inda Fatinaware said Sawit Watch noted that the current oil palm plantation area in the entire area has reached 22.6 million hectares. The number of workers reached 16.2 million people consisting of direct and indirect workers. These indirect workers include shadow workers and farming families, including children.
